Meet the Advising Team!

While all of our academic advisors can assist with general questions, we specialize in specific majors.  Students will be assigned to an advisor based on major and work with that advisor until they graduate or get accepted to a limited enrollment program.  Students who change majors during their time at MTC are encouraged to switch advisors if necessary, based on program, but this is optional if you wish to continue with the same advisor. 

Appointments

MTC has a case management approach to advising, so students are required to schedule appointments with their assigned advisor except during our high traffic times at the start of a new semester or during registration events.  These dates will be announced in advance.

To schedule an appointment, call 740-386-4200, stop by Bryson Hall 176, or schedule an appointment online using your advisor’s scheduling link below. 

• Current students: If you choose to schedule an appointment online, please schedule with your assigned advisor unless you are changing majors and want to meet with the advisor for the new program. If you schedule an appointment with the wrong advisor, you may be asked to reschedule.
• New students: Please select the advisor below based on your intended major. For your first appointment, you must schedule an in-person or Zoom appointment for 50 minutes.  You must have your My MTC account set up in order to schedule online.
