Amanda Robinson

Biography

Amanda Robinson is the academic advisor for Engineering, IT, Business, and Criminal Justice. Amanda also teaches FYE1000 Academic and Career Success. In both roles, Amanda urges students to work towards their hopes and dreams by planning, researching, and setting realistic goals. Amanda always hopes that her students will learn all they can and actively apply this information to their adventures in the surrounding communities.

Amanda earned her bachelor’s degree from Columbus College of Art and Design, where she also taught Continuing Education classes for three years. Before joining MTC, Amanda spent five years in the banking industry, 3 years in logistics, and over 20 years in volunteer work benefiting the community that surrounded her at the time. At this time, Amanda is shopping for her master’s degree, loves exploring the state with her husband, is the mom to two amazing kiddos, and enjoys watching cartoons in her free time.
