Biography
Peggy Smith is the medical assisting program director and teaches most of the program’s technical courses. Peggy began her career in the medical field as a graduate of MTC’s Medical Lab Technician (MLT) program. She then started the MA program here at MTC. Peggy has been working with students for over 25 years. Peggy is also a CAAHEP accreditation site surveyor, inspecting other MA programs as well as a certified MLT and MA.
