Marion Campus Job and Internship Fair
Members of the public are invited to attend the Annual Marion Campus Job and Internship Fair on Wednesday, April 12 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Alber Student Center on the Marion Campus. Dozens of companies looking to hire employees and interns will be attending. Tri-Rivers Career Center is excited to be the newest partner in this annual event with returning partners Marion Technical College, The Ohio State University at Marion, and Ohio Means Jobs - Marion County.
Job seekers and employers can sign up for free at https://bit.ly/JobFairRegistration2023. Those looking for a new opportunity can post their resumes and browse employers.
“This is a great opportunity for our students, especially those who are graduating this spring, to see local job opportunities, network, and interview!” said Ellen Messenger, director of communications for Tri-Rivers.
While dozens of employers in a variety of fields including health care, business, manufacturing, and public service have already signed up, there are a few more tables if businesses want to connect with hundreds of job seekers. With members of the public as well as soon-to-be high school and college graduates, this will be a strong crowd for companies looking to hire in a tight job market.

“We work to prepare our students for in-demand careers!” said Kristi Butler, Director of Career Services for Marion Technical College. “Come to find students in engineering, nursing, business, and other fields who are ready with the skills employers want.”

“We are excited about this annual event and look forward to having many area employers participate. It’s a great opportunity for our students to network, build connections and learn about job opportunities in numerous areas,” said Jane Arnold, coordinator of career services at The Ohio State University at Marion.
College and high school students can turn to their schools for free help with all of their needs, including finding professional clothing for an interview.
During the job fair, job seekers can stop in the Alber Student Center lobby to get a professional photo for their LinkedIn profiles.
