Marion Technical College offers an Education Equity Scholarship in memory of George Floyd and others whose lives were cut short by racial and social injustice. Two scholarships will be awarded for students annually.
“This is one of a number of steps Marion Tech is taking to address the racism affecting people in our community,” said Dr. Ryan McCall, president of Marion Technical College. “It is up to each one of us to work to create a better future.”
Incoming students from an underrepresented group with a demonstrated financial need in good academic standing may apply each spring. This scholarship supports students who further the inclusion, diversity and equity initiatives of the college. To apply, go to https://www.mtc.edu/apply.html.

Marion Technical College is an open enrollment institution that serves students of all ages and backgrounds, from middle school students to grandparents.
